Creating explorer views

With an explorer view, you combine a navigation method, main information and detailed information in one view.

• In the base view select the main information you are looking for.
• In the navigation pane select information to easily find your way to the main information.
• Select detailed information from the base view to show in the leaf panes.

To create a new explorer view:

1. From the View menu, point to Current View and choose Define Views.
2. In the Define Views dialog box, click Add.
3. In the New View dialog box, select Explorer and click OK.
4. In the View Summary dialog box, click Others.
5. In the Others dialog box, change the settings for the panes.
