Setting default templates

The default template is used whenever you create a new item without choosing the template.

To set an items default template:

  1. In the File menu, point to New and choose the item for which you want to set the default template.
  2. In the Choose Template dialog box, select the template you want to set as default for this item.
  3. Select the Set as Default check box.
  4. If you want to proceed with this template to create a new item, click OK. Otherwise, click Cancel, the default will still be set.
