Selecting sounds

Service Desk gives you feedback at different moments. For example, when the connection to Service Desk is opened or when an item is assigned to you.

To select a sound for feedback:

  1. Choose Options from the Tools menu.
  2. Click the Sounds tab.
  3. In the Sounds tab page, select an event for which you want audible feedback.
  4. To give the event a sound, click Browse in the Sound area to locate and open a sound file or select a sound from the Name list.
  5. To remove the sound from the event, clear the Name field.
