The readme file

The readme file contains information that will help you get started with Service Desk. You will find the readme file in the root folder of the Service Desk CD-ROM, under the file name readme.htm. 

The readme file can also be viewed from within the installation program. To open it, choose View Readme from the Service Desk installation start screen.

You will find the following information in the readme file:

• How to use the Service Desk CD-ROM: where to find the installation program and how to start it.
• Any last-minute information that became available after the other documentation went to manufacturing.
• How to read the documentation supplied on the Service Desk CD-ROM and where to find the documentation.
