Using the alerting icon

Double-click the alerting icon to view or edit the unopened items.
Right-click on the icon to open a menu with the following commands:
- Choose Open, to open all unopened items. The items will be opened in their default format.
- Choose Dismiss, to dismiss the icon without taking any action. When another item is assigned to you, the flashing icon will again appear.
