To create a new item using the default template and the default
form, do one of the following:
Click the New button in the toolbar and select
the type of item you want to create. The New
button shows the small icon of the item.
Right-click anywhere in a table-view, card view or explorer
view and choose New item from the popup menu.
To create a new item using a chosen template and the default
form:
Point to New in the File
menu.
Choose the item you want to create.
In the Choose Template window, double-click
the template you want. If the template is assigned to a template
category, select the category in the Template
Category tree, then double-click the template you
want.
To create a new item using a chosen template and a chosen
form:
Point to New in the File
menu.
Choose Choose Form from the
New submenu.
In the Choose Form window, double-click the
form you want.
In the form, select the template from the
Template list in the form's toolbar.
NOTE: You can only
choose from the templates and forms for which you have access
rights. Contact your system administrator if you want changes made
to the templates or forms.
