Setting default forms

The default form is used whenever you open an item without choosing the form.

To set an items default form:

  1. Open the item's view for which you want to set the default form.
  2. In the File menu, point to New and choose Choose Form.
  3. In the Choose Form dialog box, select the template you want as default for this item.
  4. Select the Set as Default check box.
  5. If you want to proceed with this form to open an item, click OK. Otherwise, click Cancel, the default will still be set.
