You can improve the overview of the data in the table view by
grouping the rows.
To group the rows in the table view:
Choose Group by Box from the
View menu. The group by box is shown at the top of
the table view.
Drag a column header from the table view to the group by box.
The rows are now grouped according to the data in the group column
you dragged to the group by box. Each group of rows is preceded by
a header line, showing the contents of the group column.
To open a group, click the plus sign in the group header.
To close a group, click the minus sign in the group header.
To create groups within a group, drag a second group to the
group by box. You can group the data in up to four subgroups.
NOTES:
Service Desk creates groups from the data in the group column.
If the group column does not contain data - or contains only one
value - only one group is created.
To show the group by box, click the Group by
Box button ( ) in the standard tool bar.
